This is great and almost guilt free.

What you need
  • 2 – 4 pears
  • ½ vanilla pod
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1 tsp of manuka honey
  • Sliced almonds
  • Dollop of natural yogurt
How to do it
  1.  Place the peeled pears in a pan, and add water and vanilla pod
  2. Poach for about 10mins on low heat
  3. Remove the pears and reduce rest of juice on higher heat for a couple of mins
  4. Add a little honey, then pour the sauce over the pears, add toasted almonds and yogurt. Yum!

I also do a version and serve it with homemade chocolate sauce and ice cream!
