Great way to use up leftovers, you can use any meat for this dish but you could make a vegi version by adding chickpeas instead of meat.

What you need

  • Left over strips of chicken
  • 2 table spoons of sunflower seeds
  • Thinly sliced cabbage
  • Thinly sliced carrots
  • Pinch of cumin seeds
  • Chickpeas
  • Glug of olive oil and tablespoon of good quality cider vinegar.
How to do it
  1. Firstly toast the seeds in a dry pan (careful not to burn), add all the ingredients and mix. Great with some hummus!
